Inspired by the pretty brown and pink colours from Maja designs January moodboard.

I have done a layout inspired by Januarys Moodboard by Majadesign.

I made it with a picture of my mothers parents and my mothers 3 oldest siblings. My aunt (the little girl at the front) will be 76 in march and I hope that this would be a nice gift for her!

I have used two different brownish papers from Maja design and then just white cardstock.  I made some flowers  and leaves from the same Maja design papers and painted the background with pink and brown watercolours.

Vintagelady layout

I am entering a scrapbookchallenge from ARTastic challenge blog with this layout. We were to be inspired by this lovely painting The SummerHouse by Hilda Rix Nicholas
and the criteria was that  we should do a creation in a vintage style.

I was inspired by the pink and blue colors and the lady with the dark hair and the other ladys floral dress and the lovely soft light in the painting. The whole layout has a vintage feeling about it I think! :-) I love doing projects with vintage!

The background paper are from Pions Designs old collection, "Vintage garden" and the lovely lady and the pink frame and pink and blue roses comes from their "Paris Flea Market"collection

I also used some old doiles whith roses which I stained with gold, some cheesecloth and used some decoupage to glue on some rosenapkins.
The background is painted with white and black acrylic paint

Sleeping Beauty

You are a star!

This month I have done a canvas painting to participate in "More Than Words" februarychallenge.

Criteria was to be inspired by the word Wonderful and to add something sparkling to your project!

When I started I didn't really have a finished plan but I started to do some backgrounds at the top and then started to add the stars. I loved the pink star so much that I wanted to make it the focalpoint and then came up with the text. I thought of a supporting and loving friend of mine when creating this and now she is the star shining down on the earth.

It sparkles here and there of glittering gelatos, stickles and there is some red sparkles in the pink star.

I wanted to participate in 'More than Words' January challenge . The challenge was to be inspired of the word 'Personality' and to use a selfie.

I took this selfie in my kitchen before going to a party with my coworkers. I love our house and it's got a lot of my personality in aswell as this Layout. I love old interesting things 'vintage' but to my suprise I have started to like things that sparkle. (Like the pitureframe) I also really have gotten hooked on painting wich shows in the background!

I also love to be creative with gardening and flowers and its my dream to actually work in that field some day.

The sparkling pictureframe is from Heidi Swapp, aswell as the bottom tags and the striped paper. The vintage pink frame is from a cardstock from BoBunny called Madeleine.

Summertime memories

Today when we have -25 degrees Celcius here in Sweden I finished my layout for ARTastic challenge blog. The inspiration for January came from this painting - Bondi scene by Isabelle May   Tweedle and the criteria is a summer theme.

I wanted to use this photo of Anton at our sommerhouse, proudly posing with his catch!

The papers are from Piondesigns collection 'Shorline Treasures'. I have painted on the cardstock with watercolours to create the background. The small seashells came from my Aunt and is from an old neckless. :-)
